Guys, GM has released the pictures of the Aveo RS Concept and looking at it, it feels more like a production car than a concept and going by what we have seen in the Beat, I think the mass produced car will look not very different than this. This should be the next logical upgrade to the Aveo UV-A because the present one looks as simple as a Cotton King Shirt. Anyway, the curves are back with a bang and the Beat like back is agressive yet very radical. We can be sure that the rear lights will look exactly like this because Beat too has them which were carried over straight from the concept with no loss of wickedness. The spoiler is built into the body and the center exhaust at the rear is something that might be changed to something more practical. The front is very Ford Europish but then most of the designs are becoming that now. The sweeping shoulder line which starts from the front fender to the rear one makes it look handsome and the rear door lever is again in the window which gives a nice two door look to the car. This is the same as the Beat. Nice. The grille is the typical New Chevrolet one sported by all three cars, Cruxe, Beat and this one. Spark too will get a similar front soon.
The cockpit is very Cruze and Beat like, kind of those Transformers quadrilaterals. I can even see a rear disc brake, all shiny blue and all but of course it will come with a drum to India. What this indicates is an aggressive engine inside demading more stopping power. So let's see what we get but I bet it will be the same 1.216V DOHC @80PS that does duty in the Beat (huh again this Beat).

Maruti Suzuki Jan2010 Sales Analysis
One cannot imagine the amount of money Maruti took home this month. They sold 95649 cars across all segments they operate in and they are just expanding in the UV market which has been Mahindra's bastion till now.
The best and the worst performers in Indian car market
According to a poll by probably TOI, here is the list of the 6 best performing cars in terms of sales of course. The reasons for them to be the best performers can be many, but they sure fly off the showroom shelves really fast. According to the report, the indian car market churns about 400 different models and variants from 20 manufacturers. These 6 best selling cars make about 63% of total sales in India, which I think Forum Link...
