Okay check this out, the next generation Swift will look like this from the rear. That's all I have on this story. It should be here by early next year. Yes and it will come with the same 1.2K series petrol mill that has just been plonked into it (the 1.3L ageing Esteem derived engine is history if you didn't already know). As a bonus, Maruti Suzuki could also offer the 1.6 DOHC petrol engine in this car (the one that does duty on the SX4) and sell it as a limited edition Swift Sport or something. It sure would be a genuine hot hatch then. The 1.3L FIAT DDiS will also continue for the urban indian IT professional living in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, B'lore and Pune who thinks he saves a lot driving the Swift VDi to work on the heavy fuel. Till then.. The license plate has been moved up and I see a few more curves on the sides. Good departure from the present blank rear hatch. Stay tuned as more of this car becomes public, till then it is just the rear. SOURCE: Illustration from The Motor Sport

The best and the worst performers in Indian car market
According to a poll by probably TOI, here is the list of the 6 best performing cars in terms of sales of course. The reasons for them to be the best performers can be many, but they sure fly off the showroom shelves really fast. According to the report, the indian car market churns about 400 different models and variants from 20 manufacturers. These 6 best selling cars make about 63% of total sales in India, which I think Forum Link...
